What electronic device should I buy?

Hi.





I am planning to get an electronic device which can keep me occupied when I am in awkward (alone, lonely, bored) situations but I don't know where to start since I am not that technology savvy. Thus, I really need help.





I would like a device which can:


- go online anywhere at anytime


- play/ store songs


- play/ store videos


- play/ store games


- play/ store online storybooks


- have maps or have gps ( a device to help me find my way when I am traveling)


- large screen





For now, I saw that Ipod Touch fits some preferences of mine but are there any other suggestions?





Thank you very much. Have a nice day.|||An iphone or a Droid would do all this and more. If you are looking for a non phone item, i would suggest and ipad w/ 3g. If you don't want to pay for a monthly subscription, then go for an Ipod touch.|||A smart phone is the only one that can be online *almost* anywhere. iPod Touch is wi-fi only and has to be within range of a wireless network to be connected to the internet.
