Can you recommend any good music?

I've spent most of the last 5 years living abroad, so I've been really out of touch with the music scene, now im just looking for some good band.








So anything but country and rap I'll give a try, I like rock, metal, glam, goth, punk darkwave, electronic, even a little emo or pop music is good now and then.

What I love even more is that she doesn't add the "145 extra note treatment" to her vocals like many african american singers do. Even Christina Aguilera does it. And no that's not racist, so please don't say it is.|||You're into Motley Crue and Alice Cooper? Nice, two of my favourite bands. If you like those bands then you might like listening to KISS, Queen, Guns N Roses, Rolling Stones, Ramones, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, Runaways.|||if u like some asian song, maybe u would like Super Junior (korean boy band). I recommend u Snow, by Red Hot Chili Peppers. if u like rock, try 2 listen Guns N' Roses and Metallica. i also like Rise Against, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Killswitch Engage, AFI, Green Day, Nirvana, Ramones, The Offspring, Misfits, Billy Talent......|||I like a lot of dance music, electronic stuff. My favourites are Dubstep and DnB, check out Chase and status, they do great dubstep and Dnb.

I would advise you to listen to each song in it's entirety, or at least wait until the chorus, 8 out of 9 of these bands intergrate clean vocals (singing) into their songs as well as Death Growl vocals. DevilDriver is the only band on the list that isn't Melodic Death metal and they very rarely use clean vocals, they are Groove Metal, but they are still melodic.



NOTE: Mercenary used to have a different lead vocalist and Scar symmetry have 2 new vocalists, the vocalist in the Scar Symmetry video (Christian Alvestam) is no longer a member of the band and is now the vocalist for Solution .45, he has been replaced by Roberth Karlsson (death growl vocals) and Lars Palmqvist (clean vocals), and the vocalist in the mercenary song is Rene Pedersen who used to play bass as well as contribute backing vocals in previous Mercenary albums, he now plays bass and sings both death growls and clean vocals, he has replaced former lead vocalist Mikkel Sandager.
