Can anybody think of any groups that sound like M83, Mum, Duo 505, or ISAN that I might like?

I listen to lots of different types of music, but lately I've been into electronic type songs, but more ambient like. Does anyone know any songs that sound like these groups or sounds like any of these songs that I like.


The songs I like are:


M83-We own the sky and Don't save us from the flames


Mum-We have a map of the piano, Green grass of tunnel, and The islands of childrens children


ISAN-Cathart


Duo 505-Feel the pain|||Isan and Mum are brilliant. Such great tunes.





Definitely check out Ulrich Schnauss. His first two albums ("Far Away Trains Passing By" and "A Strangely Isolated Place") are essential for anyone into that type of music. You will love them.





Helios makes really nice music. "Halving The Compass", "Come With Nothings" and "Sons Of Light And Darkness" are his best tracks in my opinion, but a lot of his other songs are individually beautiful too.





"Tangled Wool" by Xela is another similar album that is amazing. Really nice acoustic guitar sounds mixed with electronics. Perfect chilling music. You might also like his first album "For Frosty Mornings And Summer Nights". It's a bit more electronic - orientated, but is still quite warm sounding at the same time.





"Grey Scale" and "Endless Summer" by Fennesz are timeless tracks.

"Homecoming" by Machinefabriek and Peter Broderick is a crucial tune in that genre.

"Guitar Interrupt" by Christian Kleine is really nice. It's on Youtube somewhere. You might also enjoy his "Firn" EP. "Valis" is a great album by him too.





"It's So Funny How We Don't Talk Anymore" by The Remote Viewer is a good one. A lot of their work is really nice.





"I Could Not Love You More" by Rameses III is an almost perfect album.





"Hopes And Past Desires" by Rafael Anton Irisarri is definitely worth listening to. Chihei Hatakeyama, Jasper TX, Minamo, Fourcolor, Relmic Statute, Manual and Marahiko Hara are other names worth trying within that genre.
