How dose the electronic advance work on my 1984 camaro. Do both vacum lines going in to the map sencor have to?

have vaccum on them. How do you tell if the map sensor is bad and or the nock sensor is working corectley. If you do have to have vaccum on both sides dose anybody now how much. |||Right offhand that's going to be a tough one to answer. You'll find all your answers if you pick up both the Hayne's and Chilton's manuals for your specific model of car. It'll give you everything you need to know to diagnose your sensors as well as a detailed breakdown of how all your car's systems work individually and together. Usually sensor diagnosis is pretty easy, if they require vacuum, you put a vacuum pump to them for the specified amount and test resistance at certain terminals, the manuals will tell you what readings are within spec and which ones would indicate faulty parts. Hope this helps :)
