okay i have a 1993 Saturn SL2. two codes have really been bothering me:
MAP sensor low
soft flag - electronic spark control over maximum value
...
any ideas? ive replaced the MAP sensor twice now thinking the first one was faulty. as for the spark control it has new plugs n wires and the coil packs are fine.|||I was thinking I had the answer till I read the bottom part. Saturns set stupid codes for spark if they think the resistance is too high on a plug/wire but since you have replaced all of that then that's probably not the answer. Do you happen to have the code numbers? I have All Data at work and I can get back to you tomorrow on a better diagnoses.
